Peace Offerings

Lev. 3:1-17 (all)

Offer by fire:
fat that covers the inwards,

* The lamb offering is different from the other animals in these two regards,
which points to the Lamb of God, whose “fat,” zeal, was abundant, and whose
“whole rump,” purpose, walk, was devoted to doing the will of God.
Lev. 7:11-15
Thanksgiving:
- unleavened cakes mingled with oil
- unleavened wafers anointed with oil
- fried cakes of fine flour mingled with oil
- leavened bread
-of it (all), offer one out of the whole oblation for a heave offering, it shall
be the priest’s who sprinkled the blood.
The fact that four different types of cereal are offered represents 1) the diversity
in the Body of Christ, and 2) they come from the four corners of the earth
Flesh of his peace offering for thanksgiving eaten the same day.
No one running for the prize of the High Calling lived for more than one day, 1000
years.
Lev. 7:16
Vow, or a voluntary offering:
- flesh eaten two successive days, but not third day. Two days, but not three,
points to the 2000 year span of the Gospel Age, but not into the third day.

- if flesh touches anything unclean, not eaten, but burned with fire.
- all who are clean may eat
- all who are unclean, whether of himself or by external reason, who eat, shall be
cut off. See John 13:10,11.
